GLENDA GALLAGHER
Glenda has been organising conferences, seminars and events for over 25 years for a wide variety of organisations. She is one of only 52 Certified Event Managers throughout Australasia. Along with corporate events, Glenda has been responsible for organising fundraising events, with record results. She is well regarded as someone who ‘can look outside the square’ to help create something that is fresh and memorable for her clients.
Glenda holds overall responsibility for projects within Harding Conferences. From financial management and high-level planning to ensuring website updates are implemented on time and correctly, Glenda has a hands-on approach to every aspect of your conference, right down to the smallest detail. With extensive experience working alongside corporate sponsors and industry exhibitors, Glenda is able to ensure all parties get the best results from their resource and financial commitment. Testament to this, are the clients who have been with Glenda since the company’s inception – over 25 years.
Outside of work she enjoys socialising with her family of 3 grown children and 4 precious grandchildren, and a wide circle of friends.
LUCY MACKAY
Lucy has been part of the Harding Conferences team for almost five years, working across all aspects of conference planning and delivery.
With experience in administration and contract management from the labour hire and mining sectors overseas, she has worked in remote and isolated locations with people from all over the world.
Alongside Glenda, Lucy is involved in every aspect of a conference from delegate communications, registration and website management to sponsorship, event materials, onsite coordination and everything a conference entails. She enjoys seeing all the different elements come together to create a successful event.
In her free time, Lucy is an avid reader and happiest out on the boat, soaking up the Marlborough sea air with her husband, son, family and friends.
LIBBY HILDER
Libby has worked with Harding Conferences for almost 20 years on a contract basis. She also owns and runs her own recruitment business. With a background that includes recruitment, management and sales, Libby clearly enjoys working with people. A true favourite of delegates, at a recent conference committee meeting, the first question one of the representatives asked was “Will Libby be coming to the conference?”
Libby is committed to meeting project objectives and will ensure the timeline is followed and all deliverables are presented on time. She is our resident run sheet tick-off expert, keeping track of the details, following up on outstanding tasks and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
In her free time, Libby is a keen (obsessed) golfer and a seriously good cook!
ARIANA EADY
Ariana brings a strong background in customer focused industries to the Harding Conferences team, along with excellent people skills and a natural ability to connect with others. Her experience in fast-paced environments has given her a calm, practical approach and the ability to adapt quickly.
Ariana is always happy to pitch in and help wherever she is needed, whether that’s supporting delegates, assisting with event preparations or helping keep things running smoothly onsite. Her friendly nature and willingness to take on whatever is thrown her way make her a valued part of our team.
Outside of work….
ABBY PIPER
Abby has been part of the Harding Conferences team for many years, bringing a wealth of experience in events, administration and customer service. With a diverse background in people-focused roles, she has developed strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
Abby enjoys the variety that comes with events and thrives in busy environments. Her friendly, approachable nature, attention to detail and willingness to lend a hand wherever needed make her a valued member of the team.
Abby loves spending time with her husband and step-daughter, wider family and is an absolute stand out baker!
STACEY SCHEMBRI
Stacey is a recent graduate from the University of Canterbury with a Bachelor of Communications and a Graduate Diploma in Business (marketing). Her work in the performing arts industry has given her a passion for events and a keen eye for detail, which she loves utilising across the conference, events and wedding industries.
Outside of work, Stacey enjoys being on stage and spending time with friends and family.
